We recently started working with a custom ute chassis builder to deliver them a hgh quality finished job for their customers. The chassis frames are delivered to us - we blast them right back to bare steel as it's highly likely the end customer will be driving on beaches exposing the entire vehicle to salt water. The stripped back frame is thoroughly cleaned with high pressure water, dried off and then has a zinc based primer coat applied. The top coat is a Sahara Ebony Black powder which has a slightly textured feel - look awesome when the finished chassis frame is fitted to the ute. Total coating thickness (primer plus top coat) is running around 180 - 240 microns, way above the Australian Standard but perfect for the end application.
